Adventures in urban exploration

I’ ve been fascinated by ‘urban exploration’ for quite some time now. What truly intrigues me are deserted buildings with their still present history, old rusty materials with their own story, … Short photography is something I thoroughly enjoy but I like this particular way of photography more.

This fascination for ‘urban exploration’ was brought on to me by coincidence. I was already interested in photography and while researching information about this subject, by chance I got on a forum with fellow photographers. On that forum I had my first experience with the art of desolated locations. I was taken in by the originality of it. Each picture had his own story and had a real urban touch to them. After this first encounter I kept on searching and soon I felt ready to do this by myself.

I prepared myself, by buying equipment and taking a membership on a artforum. On that forum I got in contact with K. and since then we have been looking for ‘the adventures of urban exploration’.
